Josh and I don't have any kids yet, so I like to think the ten little divas that I spend most of my time with fill that void for right now. And DIVAS they are. Below are some of the comments I've gotten from them this year...Kid: Miss Rebecca, have you seen my artwork?
Me: No, I have not see it.
Kid: Well, you should. I'm pretty good.
Kid: Miss Rebecca, I'm going to do this dance one more time, and after that, I'm resting.
Me: (laughing) Well, okay, but you probably won't win a big trophy if you quit.
Kid: Right now, I'm SO over the trophy. (eyes rolling, of course)
Kid 1: I didn't wear my pedinis today (pedinis are a type of dance shoe).
Kid 2: Ewwww. I wore my PANTIES today!
I laugh at them every day. Kids are so honest, and they are so good at telling you EXACTLY how they feel. They don't sugarcoat, they don't talk about me behind my back. and they love me no matter what. I wish adults were more like that. I love my little dancing queens!!
